Stock Splits
Obtain the stock splits of each company, with the split ratio as a numerator and denominator: a 4-for-1 split has numerator 4 and denominator 1, while a reverse split has a numerator smaller than its denominator. Splits change the number of shares but not the value of the company, which is why historical prices are adjusted for them.
