Returns the most recent 8-K filings with the SEC. Companies file an 8-K to announce a material event between their periodic reports, such as results, an acquisition, a change of management or a new financing, which makes the stream of 8-K filings an early signal of company news.

Also known as: current reports, material event filings, SEC filings.
